Along the way they've become visible role models for our younger GLBT community and have opened discussion to such gay subjects as same-sex marriage, equality and gay acceptance. I really just kind of just gave myself a masterclass in understanding different ingredients that I had never seen before. Hailing from Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, Manny (Manuel) Barella made a bold decision to follow his passion, abandoning law school to pursue a career in the culinary arts. But it was cool to meet him. Two challenges prior, I really struggled with telling how I improved in the season.
